Lorraine Mirra, 78, of Fall River, passed away 12/16/09 surrounded by her family at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Elmer and Lillian (Moreau) Borden. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, serving coffee & pastries, and spreading her sweetness with candy. Mother of Robin Viveiros and Bernadette Saucier (husband-Brian); sister of Donald (partner Dave), Normand (late wife Jessie), Billy (wife – Beverly), Bobby (wife-Nancy) and Michael (partner-Gil) Borden, Norma Vanasse (husband-Tom) and the late Rose Polselli (husband-Marty). She also leaves 2 grandsons, Colin & Evan, 1 great granddaughter, Joelle Mae, and many nieces & nephews. Her funeral service was held on Saturday (12/19) in our Fall River Chapel followed by a committal service at Notre Dame Cemetery. Her pallbearers were Colin and Evan Viveiros, Brian Saucier, Scott Correira, Andrew Ferreira and David Costa.
