Lorraine Irene Rosa, 81, of Rehoboth, wife of the late William Rosa, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at her residence. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Manuel and Irene (Ferreira) Marques, she was a homemaker for most of her life and held her real estate license. Mrs. Rosa was a lector at St Dominic's Church in Swansea where she was a communicant for many years. She leaves: 3 children, William Rosa and his wife Blanca of Rehoboth, Debbie Rose and her husband Joseph of Munnsville, New York, and Leslie Rosa of Norton; 6 grandchildren, Shelby and Karly Bianco, David Paparella, Lindsey Daigneault, Jason Rosa and Jessica Ribeiro; 4 great grandchildren, Devin, Mia, Liana and Bennett; 3 sisters, Beverly Canuel and her husband Robert of Supply, North Carolina, Lou Ann Marques of Seekonk, and Lois Laprise and her husband Wilfred of Norton; 6 nieces, Kristen, Kerrin, Pamela, Allison, Amanda, and Lauren, and 2 nephews, David and Neil; and many great nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, May 31st, in St. Dominic Church in Swansea. Her burial was private.
