Louie P. Vieira, 48, of Rehoboth, fiancé of Megan L. Maxwell, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Tufts Medical Center. Born in Fall River, Louie was a son of Beatrice T. (Pacheco) Vieira and the late Luis Barboza Vieira.

Louie worked as a Mechanical Engineer at GGD Consulting Engineering. He enjoyed cooking, doing yardwork, golfing and traveling. Most notably, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

Besides his fiancée, he leaves: his son Haven Ashton, of Rehoboth; siblings, Michael Vieira of Fall River and Sandra Arruda. and her husband Michael, of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, in the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. His funeral will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Committal service and interment will immediately follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
