Louis B. Arruda, 78, of Fall River, passed away Sunday at home. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Jacinto and Georgina Barbosa Arruda. Beloved father of Louis Arruda Jr. (wife-Kim), Stephanie Medina and Jennifer Arruda Hall (husband-George); grandfather of Sarah and Jessica Arruda, Jonathan and Gabriel Medina, Jaden McKinnon and Austin Hall; great grandfather of Jeremiah Arruda, Skylah and Noah DeBarcelos; brother of Olivia Silva, Arthur Barbosa, Laurinda DeMelo, Vidalia Baldaia and the late Antonio and Joseph Arruda and Maria Almeida. He was also loved by many nieces, nephews and his dearest friends, Paula and Gwenn DaSilva. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 27th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church here in Fall River. His burial will be in Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donaton in Lou's memory to your favorite charity.
