Louis C. Lima, 69, of Fall River, husband of Almerinda (Morgado) Lima, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at St. Anne's Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Arrifes, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Jose and Idalina (Cabral) Lima.

Prior to his retirement he worked at Quaker Fabrics for many years. In his retirement he worked for Citizens for Citizens.

Besides his wife of forty-eight years, he is survived by: four children, Luis Lima and his wife, Stacie, Nelly Posadas and her husband, Carlos, Gary Lima and his wife, Kimberly, all of Fall River and Eddy Lima and his wife, Carmen, of Georgia, ten grandchildren; one great- grandchild; a sister, Maria Rosa Gravito of Fall River and several nieces and nephews.  He was also the brother of the late Manuel Lima and Joao Lima.

His Funeral Service was held on Monday, February 17th, during calling hours in our Fall River Chapel. His burial arrangements were private.
