Louis Martin, Jr., 88, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital. His wife, Georgina (Brilhante) Martin, had only just passed away the previous month, after 56 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, he was the son, and only child, of the late Luis Martin and the late Mary (Rego) Martin.

He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was employed for the entirety of his working life as a delivery truck driver for Peerless Laundry. Louis took great pride in caring for the vehicles he owned, of which there were only two in his lifetime, a 1951 Chevy and a 1999 Mustang. He even enjoyed maintaining his delivery truck at work in good repair and excellent condition.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral was held Wednesday, January 12th, from our Fall River Chapel with a committal service with Military Honors at Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
