Louis S. Nogueira, 71, of Albion St, husband of Dolores (Medeiros) Nogueira, died Sunday, August 5, 2007, at home after a long illness. Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Gloria (Silva) Nogueira. He retired from Quaker Fabric. Besides his wife, he is survived by: daughters, Filomena (& her husband, Edward) Garcia of Cape Coral, FL, Florinda (& her husband, Mark) Freitas of Fall River; siblings, Manuel Teixeira & Octavio Silva both of St. Michael, Azores, Norbert & Gil Nogueira both of Fall River, Fatima Pereira of Westport, Jose Teixeira of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Kyle Garcia of Florida, Kathryn Araujo of Fall River; many nieces and nephews. Funeral was held Wednesday, August 8th in St Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers were Carlos Pimentel, Jason Pimentel, David Bettencourt, Jason Bettencourt, Jeffrey Nogueira and Kyle Garcia. Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
