Louise V. Costa, 88, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset, wife of the late Alfred Costa, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 after a long illness.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary E. (Ferry) Martin.

Prior to her retirement she worked at various hospitals as a Registered Nurse for many years. She and her husband loved to dance, frequenting Roseland Ballroom several times a week. Considered to be "Snowbirds", she and her late husband enjoyed wintering in Fort Myers, Florida and traveling extensively to such places as Portugal, Egypt, and Greece. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Louise and her late husband, Alfred, were an inseparable loving couple.

She leaves: her children, Marie Rogers and her husband, Michael, of Fall River, Gerald Costa and his wife, Leslie, of Carver, MA, and Todd Costa and his wife, Tracey, of Somerset; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Natalie Silva and Evelyn Frazer; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Lillie Smith, Alice Cordeiro, Mary Vieira, Angiemae P. Cane, and John, Manuel, Joseph, David, Ernest, and James Martin.

Her Funeral arrangements were private.
