Louise E. (Perry) Domingos, 66, of Swansea, beloved wife of Joe Domingos, entered into rest on June 30 following a long and brave battle with cancer. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John and Hermine (Desnoyers) Perry. She was a 1960 graduate of Mount St. Mary's Academy and later the Fall River Beauty Academy while also working part time at Wheelock's Auto Repair. In 1965 she married Joe and left for Alaska to begin life as an Air Force Wife living in several stateside and overseas locations over the next 25 years before settling in Swansea in 1990. Primarily a homemaker and supermom, she also worked as a hairdresser, base housing manager, librarian's assistant and bookkeeper, before retiring in 2005 from Grinnell's Bookkeeping in Fall River. Louise enjoyed the ocean, cooking, tennis, scrapbooking, reading, traveling and especially the companionship of her family and friends. A true matriarch and mentor to nearly everyone she met, she was always the one to confide in for guidance, support, laughter and love. Besides her husband of 43 years she is also survived by son Joseph Domingos, his wife Chris and their sons Perry and Jeff of Belleville, Il; son Jon Domingos, his daughter Barbara of Swansea; and daughter Kristina Domingos, her partner Annette Riemer of Tiverton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Siblings include Cecile Nascimento and Norman Perry of Saco, ME and her late brother Marcel Perry. Friends and family gathered at the Silva Faria Funeral Home for a memorial service. Committal arrangements were private. Our sincere thanks to all family, friends and Beacon Hospice Personnel who helped care for and comfort Louise during her final days.
