Obituary

Louise Staibano, 92, of Fall River and wife of the late John Staibano, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence after a brief illness. Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late John Ferraro and the late Carmela (Albanese) Ferraro.

Prior to her retirement, she was a sewing machine operator in the local garment industry for many years. An avid reader, she also loved cooking, baking, gardening, and sewing. But most notably, Louise was a very kind and personable woman and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

She leaves: her loving children, Ann Trudeau and her husband, Leonard, and John Staibano and his husband, Claus, both of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Angelo Ferraro, John Ferraro, Joseph Ferraro, and Rose King.

Her Funeral Service was held on Saturday, August 28th, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her committal at Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Louise's Memory to: Thomas Chew Memorial Boy's and Girl's Club, 793 Bedford St., Fall River, MA 02723 or Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence, R.I. 02904.
