Luciann Faith Macedo, 88, of Pilot Knob, MO, formerly of Fall River, departed this life on March 17th. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel R. and Rose M. (Silvia) Macedo, she was a social worker for the State of Massachusetts for many years and was also one of the original tellers at St. Anthony of Padua Federal Credit Union. Fluent in Portuguese, she volunteered at the police department and assisted many immigrants in finding employment. Lucy loved to travel all over the world and enjoyed playing the organ, baking all types of fancy desserts and cooking wonderful dishes from Portugal. She was a gentle hearted woman who would help anyone in a time of need and will be very deeply missed by the many lives she has touched. Luciann is survived by nieces, Delinda Blanford and husband, Alan, Dorothy Moore and Susie; nephews, Michael Henson, Donald Medeiros, Billy Medeiros, Anthony Medeiros Jr., William Macedo, Joseph Macedo, James Macedo and John Macedo Jr.; cousin, Joseph Medeiros and wife, Delores. She was also sister of the late Virginia "Cookie" Henson, Mary, Joseph, Manuel, James, John and Anthony Macedo. Following her cremation in Missouri, her Memorial Mass was offered in St. Anthony of Padua Church on Saturday (3/27). Her cremains were buried in her family's lot at Notre Dame Cemetery.
