Lucilia Nogueira, 84, died Thursday, August 30 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center in Fall River. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, daughter of the late Francisco and Beatriz (Mesquita) Alves Pereira. She immigrated to Fall River in 1970 and eventually became a US Citizen. She had been a machine operator at the former Anderson Little Co. in Fall River for many years and was a member of Ateneu Luso Americano Church. She leaves a brother , Amadeu, and 2 sisters, Fernanda and Natercia, all of Portugal and 3 nieces. Her funeral was private. Interment was in St. Patrick Cemetery.
