Lucille Ann Carlino, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at the Fall River Jewish Home in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred "Kelly" Carlino. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Frank Amaral and the late Lucy (St. Laurent) Amaral. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was employed for many years at Ideal Laundry and was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her loving children, Susan Ann Carlino of Fall River and Alfred "Al" Carlino and his wife Eileen Elizabeth of Orange, California, her grandchildren Michael Anthony and David Jared Albanese of Costa Rica, and Kelly Ann Albanese-Hatosy and her husband Shawn Wayne of California, Heather Renee, Brandon Michael and Sarah Elizabeth Carlino and Justin Paul Tierney, all of California, Great Grandchildren Cameron David and Luca Albanese of Costa Rica, Cassius Jordan Hatosy of California and Merissa Robichaud of Fall River. Lucille loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was blessed to spend her last Christmas with all of them. They fondly called her Grammy Lou. She loved to travel with her family and friends. A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lucille taught her family how to love. She was the sister of the late Gertrude Sousa, Frank Amaral, Ines Mederios, John Amaral and Charles Amaral. The family would like to thank the Fall River Jewish Home and VNA Hospice, for the love and support they bestowed on Lucille. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, May 9, in Holy Rosary Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
