Lucy Ortiz (Torres), 75, passed away Thursday . Born in New York City, daughter of the late Gregorio and Maria Marcolina Torres (Montalbo). She is survived by: her children, Flor Pereira (Husband-Joseph) of Fall River and Armando Ortiz of Arizona, her grandchildren: Steven (Wife- Stefanie) Pereira, Allison Pereira, Armando Ortiz, and Amanda Ortiz, great granchildren: Briannah Pereira, Chloey Pereira, Steven Pereira Jr., and Willow Ortiz. She also leaves a brother Alfredo Torres (Wife-Norma) of New York City. She was the sister to the late: Gregory Torres, Helen Rivera, Mary Velez, and Antonia Ortiz. She will be dearly missed by all. A special thanks to Sarah Brayton Nursing Center and Charlton Memorial Hospital. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, February 6th, in St. Bernard Church in Assonet followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
