Ludovina P. Raposo, 74, of Fall River, wife of Ricardo M. Raposo, died Sunday 3/25/12 at Crawford Nursing Home. Born in Pilar Bretanha, Sao Miguel, Azores, daughter of the late Francisco P. & Angelina (Raposo) Farias, she emigrated to New Bedford in 1972 and lived in Fall River for the past 15 years. Besides her husband, she leaves: 6 children, Suzette Raposo of Fall River, Alvaro & David Raposo both of New Bedford, Amilcar Raposo of Portugal, Ricardo Raposo of Florida & Carlos Raposo of Worcester; 5 siblings, Peter Farias of Canada, Dennis Farias, Laurinda Rodrigues, Jovita & Angelina Mello all of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Savannah, Naomi, Elijah, Joshua & Liam Raposo; many nieces & nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, March 28, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
