Luis Alberto Carvalho, 61, of Fall River, husband of Celia (Amaral) Carvalho, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Luis Alberto Carvalho and the late Angelina (Sousa) Moniz. Prior to his illness, he worked in the local textile industry for many years. An avid sport fan, Luis also enjoyed fishing and the beach. Besides his wife of forty-two years, he leaves: his children, Kimberly Carvalho, Tanya Carvalho, and Luis Alberto Carvalho, Jr. and his companion, Misty Teixeira, all of Fall River; two grandchildren, Dylan Carvalho and Quintin Pereira; his sister, Cidalia Medeiros and her husband, Fernando, of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. His funeral was private.
