Luis E. Cuesta, 47 of Fall River passed away on December 9, 2020. He was the companion of Maria Jimenez Rodrigues for over 21 years. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Enrique Cuesta and the late Zoraida Garcia.

He had been a farm laborer most of his life. Mr. Cuesta was recently working in the Commonwealth Soap Factory in Fall River.

In addition to his companion, he is survived by: 3 children, Tatiana Rivera, Felix Melendez and Carmen Melendez, all of Fall River; 7 siblings, Enid Cuesta of Fall River, Jahaira Miranda and her companion Miguel Davilla of Fall River, Iris Miranda of Fall River, Tamara Miranda of Pennsylvania, Raul Miranda of Fall River, Gregorio Negron of New York and Sachira Negron of Florida

A visitation period was held on Monday, December 21st, in our Fall River Chapel followed by a private committal service on Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Luis's memory to Operation Smile, 3641 Faculty Blvd. Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
