Luis A. Lindo, 57, of Fall River, husband of Maria (Aguiar) Lindo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Luis C. and Natalia (Tavares) Lindo. He was employed by Barletta Construction for many years and was a member of the union, local 22. A true outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. Luis was also a "jack of all trades", always repairing, painting, and maintaining his property. But most importantly, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his granddaughters. Besides his wife of twenty-nine years, he leaves: his daughters, Melinda Meilinger and her husband, Alan, of Fall River, and Vanessa Quiterio and her husband, Shaun, of Somerset; two granddaughters, Alana Meilinger and Aliza Quiterio; his sister, Mariana Arruda and her husband, Mario, of Fall River; Godchild, Nicole Arruda; and many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 29th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
