Luis R. Neto, 59, of Davis St., died on Monday after a brief illness. Born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Acores, son of Francisco R. and Maria L. (Oliveira) Neto of Fall River. A Fall River resident since 1960, he worked at Griffen Mfg. for 15 years. He loved watching movies, sports and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include sons, Kevin and Steven Neto, both of Fall River, daughter Linda Pacheco of North Carolina, brothers, Manuel R., Carlos and Michael Neto, all of Fall River, Gualberto Neto of Westport and Joseph Neto of Fitchburg, sister, Mary Hedge of Swansea, grandchildren, Steven Gomes, Chelsea Pacheco and Juel Neto and several nieces and nephews. Also grandson of the late Manuel and Carlotta Oliveira and Manuel and Maria Teresa Neto. His Funeral Mass,celebrated by Father Manuel Ferreira and Deacon Thomas Souza, was offered on Friday (7/18) in Espirito Santo Church. Committal services followed at Notre Dame Cemetery. His pallbearers were Kyle and Damian Neto, Ron Hedge, Mike Angellini, Joe Camara, Joe Brum and Matt Machado.
