Lydia Mello, 87 of Fall River, widow of Alfred Mello, died Friday 10/2/15 at St Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Manuel and Silvana (Cabral) Almeida, she worked in the local textile industry for many years retiring in the late 80's. Mother of Christine, Thomas (wife-Carol) and John (wife-Charlotte) Mello. Sister of Margaret and Cecilia Almeida, Veronica King and the late Irene Almeida. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, October 5th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
