Lydia Pedro, 87, of Fall River, widow of Alfred F. "McCarty" Pedro, died Sunday September 4, 2016 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone & Evangelina (Soares) Mello, she was a lifelong resident. She worked at the former Lamport Co., and the former Truesdale Hospital for many years. She enjoyed bowling, traveling. Sister of Lorraine Alves of Fall River and the late Antone Mello Jr., she also leaves many nieces & nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, September 12th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
