Manuel Amarello Jr, 76, of Fall River, husband of Alice (Aguiar) Amarello, died Wednesday 1/18/12 at St Anne's Hospital after a short illness. Born in Fall River where he was a lifelong resident, son of the late Manuel & Mary (Mandy) Amarello, he worked in the local garment industry for over 40 years, retiring from Bradley Scott in 1999 and was a member of ACTWU (now UNITE). He served honorably in the US Army, and was a member of St Anthony's Band for 20 years. Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves a sister, Mary Mailloux of Tiverton RI and several nieces & nephews. Also brother of the late Thomas Amarello. His funeral Mass was celebrated at St Anthony of Padua Church. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
