Manuel Antonio Martins, 70, of Somerset, passed away Saturday unexpectedly. Husband of Etelvina Martins. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Antonio and Maria da Lourdes Martins, he was a car salesman at Poirier Buick for many years. Manny was also the lead singer for his band "The Internacionals" and an avid Boston sports fan. Beloved father of Sandra Martins and Tony (wife-Stacia) Martins; grandfather of Kristina and Madison Martins; brother of Lubelia Almeida, Ruth Travassos and the late Ascencao de Jesus. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
