Manuel M. Barbosa, 76, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday. Husband of the late Maria L. (Frade) Barbosa. Born in Ribeira Seca, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Joao L. and Maria de Jesus (Medeiros) Barbosa. Manuel worked for many years at Boulevard Nurseries, Middletown, RI and also enjoyed landscaping. Manuel is survived by sons, Antonio Barbosa of Fall River and Steven J. Barbosa of Lakeville; a daughter, Isaura "Sara" Carvalho of Fall River; brothers, Fernando Barbosa of Fall River, Jose Barbosa of St. Michael, Azores, Joao Barbosa of Canada, Antonio Barbosa of Canada; a sister, Maria Barbosa of St. Michael, Azores; grandchildren, Stacy, Kayla, Shawn, Annalise and Emmeline; great granddaughter, Acelynn; and many nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 10, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal and entombment in the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
