Manuel A. Botelho, 78, the husband of Maria L. (Cabral) Botelho, passed away on Friday, at home surrounded by his loving family. Manuel was born in Livramento, St. Michael, Azores and was a son of the late Joao Botelho and the late Maria Sousa. He had been a laborer in various steel mills and was a member of Espirito Santo Church for over 40 years. After his retirement 16 years ago, he began to really enjoy: life, gardening and his family. The thing he enjoyed most of all was raising his grandchildren! He was always with a smile and loved his music.  Besides his wife 52 years he is survived by: 5 children, John Botelho and his wife Elizabeth of Fall River, Luis M. Botelho and his companion Andrea of Fall River,  Isabel da Silva and her husband Roger of Fall River, Lucy Lopes and her husband Roy of Fall River, and Jesse Botelho and his wife Andrea "Ang" of Fall River ; 7 grandchildren,  Jacob, Kobe, Addison, Emily, Tatum, Maddox and Hannah; 2 brothers, Fernando Botelho of Livramento, St. Michael, Azores and Luis Botelho of Fall River, and many nieces and nephews.  He was the father of the late Fernando M. Botelho and the brother of the late Maria Botelho, Jose Botelho and Joao Botelho. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, August 20th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
