Manuel D. Cordeiro, 69, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Jorgina (Frizado) Cordeiro, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Arrifes, St. Michael, Azores, son of Maria (Silva) Cordeiro of Fall River and the late Agostina Cordeiro. Manuel worked for the former Bradley Scott Clothing, was an avid Benfica Soccer fan and enjoyed watching movies. Besides his wife, Manuel is survived by his sons, Ricardo J. Cordeiro (wife - Rebecca) of Fall River, Sergio Cordeiro (wife - Darlene) of Fall River, Edward M. Cordeiro (wife - Catarina) of Westport and Jessie Cordeiro (fiancee - Tracey Medeiros) of Fall River; a brother, Joao Cordeiro of Fall River; a sister, Natalie DeCouto of Fall River; grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Kylie, Tyler, Kingston and Enza; and several nieces and nephews. He was also grandfather of the late Zayden Cordeiro. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, February 23rd, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
