Manuel Alexandre De Medeiros, 55, of 131 High St., on April 12, 2008 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia (Medeiros) De Medeiros. Born in Horta, Faial, Azores, he was the son of Irondina (Cordeiro) Medeiros of Fall River and the late Luis Medeiros. A veteran of the Portuguese Army, he served in Ultra Mar. He was the father of Marco De Medeiros and the late Luis De Medeiros, brother of Luis, Carlos, Francisco, Duarte, Mario, Antonio Manuel and Jorge Medeiros, Candida dos Santos, Nelia Pasteris and Susie Amaral, grandfather of Mackenzie and Landon De Medeiros. He also leaves aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Pallbearers were Francisco, Carlos, Mario, Antonio Manuel, Jorge and Alberto Medeiros, John Furtado and Messias Amaral. Committal Service was held at St. Patrick Cemetery.
