Manuel F. de Sousa, 68, of Westport, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Fall River. Manuel was the husband of Helena (Torres) de Sousa with whom they shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Pedreira Nordeste, he was the son of the late Dionisio and Ines (Furtado) de Sousa.  He was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Church. In addition to his wife he leaves: his son, John de Sousa and his wife Paula of Westport; two grandchildren, Nathan de Sousa and Cristina de Sousa; a sister, Ines Pimental of Pedreira, Nordeste; a brother, Jaime de Sousa of Fall River.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, February 10th, in Good Shepherd Parish Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
