Manuel B. Farias, 51, of Westport, passed away Saturday unexpectedly at home. Husband of Elaine Farias. Born in St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel and Maria Farias. He was a union carpenter for 15 years. Beloved father of Amy Desrosiers, Angela Correiro, Ashley, Manuel (Jr.) and Michael Farias; grandfather of Makenzi, Khloe and Blake; brother of Tina and Joe Farias, Teresa Silva, Mary Barroso and the late Maria Botelho. Manny also leaves several nieces, nephews and farm animals. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, December 20, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
