Manuel Goulart, 86, formerly of Beverly St. died Sunday. Born in Angra do Heroismo, Terceira, Azores, he was the son of the late Joao and Filomena Goulart and the husband of the late Maria Goulart. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1966 and worked as a carpenter for many years before retiring from Lightolier. Manuel played soccer for many years in his home country and was an avid Benfica fan. He leaves a son, Fernando M. Goulart and his wife Maryann of Westport; a daughter, Maria J. Frazier and her husband Robert of Fall River; three grandchildren, Tracie L. Lewis, Erik A. Goulart and Robert Frazier, IV; 2 great grandchildren, Avery J. and George A. Goulart. His Funeral Service was held on Thursday, April 7, in our Fall River Chapel followed by a committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
