Manuel J. Medeiros, 94, formerly of Dighton, passed away on Thursday. Husband of Leontina Medeiros, with whom he shared 73 years of marriage. Born in Povoacao, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Antonio Jacinto and Maria H. Medeiros. He was the father of the late John M. Medeiros and Antone J. Medeiros; brother of the late Rev. Antonio J. Medeiros and Maria Rosa Ferreira; grandfather of John M. Medeiros, Jr., Antonio Medeiros and Christopher Medeiros; great grandfather of Tara, John and Lauren; and great great grandfather of Aidan. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, July 2, in St. John of God Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
