Manuel Rego
Jr.
d. Jan 19, 2026
Manuel "Manny" Rego, 52, of Worcester, MA passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2026. Born on November 25, 1973, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Manny was a one-of-a-kind son, brother and friend whose presence filled rooms.
Manny is survived by his father, Manuel Rego, Sr. of Somerset, MA and his sister, Christine Soares and her husband Frank of Hudson, MA.
Manny was predeceased by his mother, Adelina Rego.
Manny was known for putting others ahead of himself, always generous with his time if anyone needed his help. He was steady, loyal, and always ready to roll up his sleeves. It didn't matter what the project was, personal or technical, he was always available. His passion for learning started at a young age with his first computer, a Commodore 64 which led him down his eventual career path. His ability to build computers and understand their language earned him the deserved respect of his colleagues and friends. He was employed as an IT Specialist with NeoTech/Onsupport Corporation. He was previously employed with Boston Scientific for 25 years.
Manny was an accomplished photographer, his passion for computers and his art seamlessly blended into one. He was also an enthusiast of Indian Motorcycles, taking great pleasure in maintaining and riding his bike on beautiful summer days.
His legacy of kindness, humor and dedication to his crafts will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever with love.
