Manuel Almeida, 69, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday after a short illness. Husband of Judite (Valente) Almeida to whom he was married for 44 years. Born in Sao Vicente Ferreira, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Joao and Maria dos Anjos Almeida. Beloved father of Esmeralda Martin, Clarisse, Robert and Diane Almeida; grandfather of Aiden, Owen and Payton; brother of Jose Martins, Ana Lourenco and the late Guilhermina Soares. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, August 22nd, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St Patrick Cemetery.
