Manuel "Marralha" Raposo, 59, of Fall River, passed away Monday unexpectedly. Husband of Maria (Jacob) Raposo. Born in Bretanha. St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel and Maria Gloria (Cabral) Raposo. He was a buffer at Reflek Corp. An avid fan of the Sporting Soccer Team, Manny also enjoyed tending to his farm animals. He was the beloved father of Stephanie Pacheco (husband-Steven), Chrissy Arroja (husband-Kevin) and Diane Bernardo (husband-Peter); grandfather of Alexis Pacheco; brother of Lurdes Camara, Deolinda Soares, Gilda Pavao, Jose and Jorge Raposo and Mary Rodrigues. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and was expecting his second grandchild. On Friday, 12/11/09, friends and family gathered at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home before departing for a funeral Mass in Espirito Santo Church. Following the service, pallbearers Scott Rodrigues, Frank Vieira, Messias Medeiros, Joao Jacob, Edmund Viveiros, Pedro Miguel, Joe Camara, Walter Camara, Silverio Alves, and Joe Moreira brought Manny to his final resting place in Notre Dame Cemetery.
