Manuel Miranda, 70, resident of Ocean Grove in Swansea MA, passed away at home on Monday, May 18, 2026.  Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel P. Miranda and Mariana (Almeida) Miranda of Swansea.  He is also survived by his wife Patricia (Craffey) Miranda, their daughter Stephanie Miranda and granddaughter Teagan Miranda-Brown.

He was a dedicated registered nurse for many years.  He could heal a room by his personality alone, with his sense of humor and warm heart.

Manuel loved cars, especially his Corvette, but loved being a grandfather and spending time with family most of all.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Calling Hours to be held in Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County Street, Somerset, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.

His Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 9:00 am from the Silva-Faria Somerset Funeral Home, 84 County Street, Somerset, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered in Mount Hope Catholic Community Parish's St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10:00 am. Committal Service and interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
