Manuel Miranda, 70, resident of Ocean Grove in Swansea MA, passed away at home on Monday, May 18, 2026. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Manuel P. Miranda and Mariana (Almeida) Miranda of Swansea. He is also survived by his wife Patricia (Craffey) Miranda, their daughter Stephanie Miranda and granddaughter Teagan Miranda-Brown.

He was a dedicated registered nurse for many years. He could heal a room by his personality alone, with his sense of humor and warm heart.

Manuel loved cars, especially his Corvette, but loved being a grandfather and spending time with family most of all.

His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, May 21st, at Mount Hope Catholic Community Parish's St. Francis of Assisi Church in Swansea followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery in Fall River.
