Manuel P. Camara, 78, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010. He was the husband of the late Alzira (Pereira) Camara. Born in Nordeste, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel and Maria Eduarda (Sardinha) Camara. A Fall River resident since 1974, he worked for Walkover Shoes. Survivors include sons, Luis M. Camara, Tiago C. Camara, Adelino F. Camara, all of Fall River, and Jose Camara of Swansea. Daughters, Lucy Durand of Fall River, Edie Resendes of Berkley, MA and Nelly Camara of Fall River, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was also father of the late Carol Camara. His Funeral Mass was offered on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by committal services at St. Patrick Cemetery.
