Manuel Pereira Teixeira, 81, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday peacefully surrounded by his family. Husband of Maria Diamantina Teixeira to whom he was married for 55 years. Born in St. Michael Azores, son of the late Jose and Maria Teixeira. Beloved father of Jose Pereira (wife-Zelia), John Pereira (companion Nelly Camara), Rosa Maria Pereira Bilhete (husband Joao) and a sister Rosa Varao. He also leaves 4 grandchildren; Marta Gaspar, Joao Bilhete, Bruno Andre Pereira, and Catarina Pereira; one great grandchild; Henrique Gaspar. and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Jose Leandro Pereira. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 19th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
