Manuel Ponte, 77, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2017. Born in Fall River, he was the son of late Manuel and Maria (Aroujo) DaPonte. He worked for Tillison Rubber for many years before his retirement. An avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed being out on the water on his boat. Manuel leaves a son Scott Cambra; his brother Joseph Daponte and his wife Susan; nieces Nancy and Lisa DaPonte; and his nephew Stephen Medeiros. He was also the brother of the late Fernando DaPonte and the late Elizabeth Medeiros. His services, under the direction of the Silva-Faria Funeral Homes, were private.
