Manuel Raposo , passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 in Fall River at the age of eighty-eight. Mr. Raposo was a huge Benfica fan and loved to watch soccer in general. He also loved fishing. Manuel was  born in Bretanha, St.Michael, and was a son of the late Luis and  the late Maria (Estrella) Raposo. He is survived by: four children, Filomena Arruda of Westport, John Raposo and his wife Connie, Ed Raposo both of Fall River, and Dennis V. Raposo of Somerset, three grandchildren, Lucy Arruda Resendes and her husband Joe, Erica Arruda and her wife Kayla, and Nakita Croteau and her husband Corey and five great grandchildren Alexi Resendes, Logan Resendes, Gavin Resendes, Ava Croteau, and Drayce Croteau. He was the brother of Ilda Carvalho, Joe Raposo, Deolinda Viveiros all of Fall River and Everest Raposo of Toronto. He was the brother of  the late David Raposo, Maria Ferreira, Adeline Arruda and Margaret Costa. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 9th, in St. Anthony of Padua Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
