Manuel "Manny"Rodrigues Neto, 67, of Fall River, husband of the late Christine (Fillion) Neto, passed away peacefully at Charlton Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 after a long illness. Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Francisco Rodrigues and Maria Luisa (Oliveira) Neto. Prior to his retirement, he worked in the local textile industry for many years. He was an avid golfer and loved the New England Patriots. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with family, especially his grandchildren. He leaves: his children, Stephanie Neto and her companion, Doug Szynal, of Dartmouth, and Kyle J. Neto and his wife, Amanda, of New Bedford; his cherished grandchildren, Bella Gomez, Jacob Neto, and Charlotte Neto; a sister, Mary Hedge; four brothers, Joe, Charlie, Mike, and Al Neto; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Luis Neto. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 11th, in Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
