Manuela M. Raposo, 85, formerly of Alden St., passed away Saturday, July 16th at Crawford Nursing Home. Widow of the late Antonio Duarte Raposo, she was born in St Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel Medeiros Rebelo and Idalina (Rodriques) Rebelo. A parishioner of Espirito Santo Church, Manuela was a member of their Holy Rosary Society. She is survived by a step-daughter, Maria V. Lindo of Florida, and three nephews: Jose Raposo and his wife Nelia of Fall River, Fernando Raposo and his wife Maria of Missouri, and John Raposo of Somerset. Manuela was also sister of the late Cisaltina Raposo. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, July 20th, in Espirito Santo Church. According to her wishes, she was cremated.
