Marc Aaron Quintal, 20, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Delores Bettencourt and Mark Quintal both of Fall River. He had worked as a roofer in the local construction industry for several years. Marc enjoyed all sports, listening to music, playing video games, and especially loved baseball, having played in leagues from T-Ball to CYO. He was a member of various all-star and championship teams, locally (as with the Fall River City League at Dumont Field) and playing to tournament finals in Florida. Besides his parents, he is survived by: a sister, Erica Marlene Quintal of Fall River; maternal grandparents, Anthony "Sonny" & Delores P. (Vieira) Bettencourt of Fall River; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. His paternal grandparents, Edmund & Marlene (Correia) Quintal predeceased him. Funeral was held Tuesday, August 21st in St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Pallbearers were Thomas Bettencourt, Jordan Bettencourt, Derek Raposo, Keith Dern, Dimas Almeida and Anthony Bettencourt. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery.
