Margaret Almeida, 98, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, at the Catholic Memorial Home following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel R. Almeida and the late Silvana (Cabral) Almeida.

Prior to her retirement she was an assembler in the local textile industry for many years. An incredibly creative woman, she loved sewing, decorating, making dolls, and an "array" of many other things. Margaret also enjoyed word search puzzles and traveling to such places as Europe, South America, Bermuda, and Madeira.

She leaves her loving and devoted sisters, Veronica King (late husband, Edward) and Cecilia Almeida, both of Fall River; her niece, Christine Mello of Fall River; nephews, Thomas Mello and his wife, Carol, of Fairhaven, John Mello and his wife, Charlotte, of New Jersey, and Robert King and his wife, Jennifer, of California. She was also the sister of the late Mary Irene Almeida and the late Lydia Mello.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
