Margaret L. Mattos, 75, of Fall River, wife of the late Stuart Mattos, passed away peacefully at the Catholic Memorial Home on Monday, April 22, 2019 after a long illness. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Louise (Pecheco) Travers. She drove for Fisher Bus Company for many years prior to her illness. Peggy was a good-natured woman who loved the simple things in life such as going for her morning coffee and newspaper. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis, all the Holidays, and get-togethers with family. She leaves: her children, John LaBerge and his wife, Kara, of Tiverton, Arthur Coe of Oklahoma, Scott LaBerge of Fall River, and Sandy Upham of Westport; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sisters, Catherine Silva, Nancy Sweeney, and Doris Turcotte; her brothers, Joseph Travers and Anthony Travers; and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service was held on Monday, April 29th, during calling hours at our Somerset Chapel. Her private cremation followed.
