Maria Ana (Cunha) Amaral, 79, of Fall River, wife of Virgilio P. de Amaral, died on March 10, 2010 after a long illness. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel J. da Silveira & Maria dos Anjos (Cabral) Cunha, she emigrated to Fall River in 1985. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family. Besides her husband, survivors include: 7 children, Helena Pacheco, Antonio Amaral, Natalia Oliveira, Aida Cabral, Leonor Sousa, Paulina Amaral & Graca Duarte; 1 brother, Manuel Cunha; 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. She was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery.
