Maria Rosa (Branco) Albernaz, 81, of Fall River, widow of Jose Albernaz, died Friday 7/22/11 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in St Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Francisco F. & Maria C. (Almeida) Branco, she emigrated to Fall River in 1974. She worked in the local textile industry for 20 years, retiring in 1994. Mother of Maria Helena Pereira of St. Michael, Azores. Sister of Manuel Farias & Diamantina Ferreira both of St. Michael, Azores, and the late Natalia Ferreira. Grandmother of Margaret Cardoso of Fall River. She also leaves 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. Arrangements were private.
