Maria C. Borges, 84, of Holden St., passed away Tuesday after a long illness. Widow of Herculano C. Borges. Born in Sao Vicente, St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Jose and Elvira Camara Sousa. Beloved mother of Tobias (wife-Clotilde), Joao (wife-Natalia), Pedro (wife-Rita) and Jose (wife-Fatima) Borges, Maria Viveiros (husband-Joao) and the late Tiago Borges. Maria also leaves a daughter-in-law, Alda Borges, 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren (with 3 more on the way), several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, April 11, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
