Maria C. Miranda, 87, of Fall River, passed away on Friday. Widow of Luis Abreu Miranda. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Antonio and Lauriana (Mateus) Carvalho. Survivors include sons, Alberto Miranda, Joao Luis Miranda, Francisco Miranda, Fernando Miranda and Ricardo Miranda; daughters, Teresa Teves, Ines Azul, Filomena Miranda and Olivia Cordeiro; 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also mother of the late Jose Manuel Miranda. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on July 9, in Espirito Santo Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
