Maria C. Santos, 82, of Fall River, passed away Sunday at her home. Wife of Vitorino R. Santos. Born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Joao Tomas and Maria do Rosario Pereira. Beloved mother of Merces Brum (husband-Robert), John (wife-Carol), Victor (wife-Mary) Abel, Joseph (wife-Marlene) and the late Humberto Santos; grandmother of Philip, Nathan, Amanda, Danielle and Hannah Santos, Christopher Brum, Melanie, Melissa and Magan Helley. She also leaves a sister, Beatriz "Alzira" Sousa, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, December 12, 2013, in St Anthony of Padua Church followed by her committal at St. Patrick Cemetery.
