Maria R. Chaves, 79, of Fall River, wife of the late Jose S. Chaves, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 14, 2018. Born in Santa Maria, Azores, a daughter of the late Antonio and Deolinda (Sousa) Chaves. She leaves: her son, John Chaves and his wife Libby of Fall River; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her committal service was held on Thursday, October 18th, in Notre Dame Cemetery.
